There were parades of bumboats dressed up and lighted up as floats, musical shows, dances, jazz, aerial acrobatics, wining and dancing, and many were for free.

Events and activities were organised along both sides of the Singapore River, from Empress Place, Boat Quay and inbound to Clark Quay and Robertson Quay. Boat Quay - A River Romance Dance Musical and a Singapore River Pop Circus Series&lt;br /&gt;2. Central - 2 illusionist shows&lt;br /&gt;3. Clarke Quay - Aerial acrobatic performance over Read Bridge&lt;br /&gt;4. Robertson Quay - Singapore River Circus Pop Series and Food and Wine Festival&lt;br /&gt;5. Empress Place - Milestones: Music Festival of songs of the 70s, and Flea Market. Jazz by the River by a Cuban band.
